About —

The Architecture of Wildlife is an extraordinary way of living through ecological and a philosophical lifestyle.

Our variety of products and services are catered towards forward thinking individuals and communities that are exploring holistic ways of living a life of their dreams in their own sacred spaces. We design custom made garden designs, journals, and workshops to connect with our soul and Mother Earth and her inhabitants.

Life can be a beautiful and a curious adventure when we are open to connect with the keys to our soul and the environment around us.

From my experience in my own sacred spaces-interior and exterior, I develop confidence, loyalty, and wonder in my work that is passion living. My work is not work, it is passion and trust in the divine to create spaces for ourselves and wildlife that they can depend on through endless ways of connection. My mission is to guide my community of people and wildlife with purpose and soulful ways to better take care of each other.

Through the years of my life I have struggled to express myself with the people around me and to be understood. I found that my connection with nature and wildlife, I am confident without explanation; faith to connect with people without changing my vibration of existing in this world. The sacrifices I made to hold in expression is no longer the way of living for me. It has cost me peace and enjoyment of life to meet the expectations of the world and people closest to me. I am grateful for my friends and family that have accepted me from the beginning; with them I am myself and now with the changing world that keeps changing endlessly it has been about time to express and share my knowledge with all those who will lend an ear and helping hand to Mother Earth.

Meet Melissa—

The Artist behind The Architecture of Wildlife

I’m Melissa—a native bee of the Mojave Desert, forever drawn to the quiet beauty of the wild and the kindness of people who honor it. As a birder (and always a birder in training), a landscape and garden designer, a spiritual being, and a certified nature journalist, my life’s work is rooted in reverence for the desert and its delicate ecosystems. I was fortunate to be raised by parents who valued loyalty and care above all else. Yet, like many, I struggled to express myself in a society that often prioritizes wealth over wellbeing. After years of people-pleasing and burnout, I’ve found peace in solitude and strength in self-awareness. My creative practices—journaling and design—bring me joy, deepen my connection to nature, and remind me of what truly matters: compassion, balance, and beauty. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and I’m certified as a nature journalist through the Wild Wonder Foundation. My specialty lies in designing pollinator gardens and sacred outdoor spaces that inspire connection—for this generation and the next.
